Zoo Field Trip

We took a school field trip to the zoo last weekend.
It was a hot day!


The Hornbills were active and funny with the horn beaks.


Hatchlings!


Of course, Landon and Sydney loved the playground.


And the orangutans.


The highlight of Landon's day was getting to tour with his best friend Sonny! Where to boys?


The boys climb on the tiger statue,


while Sydney hugs it :) .


But Sydney got in on the fun too.

Mother's Day

We celebrated a great Mother's Day, which started out with an outdoor tea party at school.


Which included lots of fun activities like potting flowers.


Grandma also came up to visit and we took a trip to the Caboose.




There was even time for some card games (one of Landon's latest faves) with Grandma.

Spring has Sprung

We got out to enjoy the beautiful weekend weather, with a little trip the the animal conservancy.


Sydney loved the baby barking deer so much, she wanted to give them a hug and a kiss!


We were so surprised when the parrots greeted us with a big "HI" and "Hello"!


Only at the end did Sydney get brave enough to walk around on her own.


We finished up the day with a trip to the garden center, where Landon and Sydney delighted in picking up all the fallen flowers and making a centerpiece.
