A Merry Christmas Season

We've had a very merry Christmas season. We were blessed with so many wonderful times and creating great memories!

We started off by doing some decorating and making a gingerbread village.


Elliott and the kids had a fun trip to Grandma M's, which involved baking cookies


And present opening!


On Christmas eve, Landon and Sydney had fun at Aunt Nan's (in their Sunday best) with some new toys.

On Christmas morning, they were all smiles to see that Santa came!


Then we were off to Grandma G's, to celebrate with the whole family.

Sydney had fun holding baby Simeon.

Landon had fun building legos with his cousins.

After Christmas, we headed up north for the annual Holiday Classic bowling tournament, where they both had such a blast!

Happy Halloween

Landon and Sydney had a fun Halloween season that started with a trunk-or-treat.

Landon led the pumpkin carving this year.

Sydney snuck in at the end to see the happy jack-o-lantern.

We had a chilly, snowy Halloween, so our Fireman and Ariel really had to bundle up.

But they had fun with their cousins; here's the whole motley crew!

The Great Pumpkin

We had fun (though were very chilly) at the annual Great Pumpkin competition. The pumpkins were the biggest we've ever seen this year!


Landon and Sydney also got to pick out their pumpkins. They each found the biggest one that they could carry!

Corn Maze

Sydney (and Landon) had a blast at her daycare fall field trip to the corn maze!

First Day of School

Landon was an old pro at his first day of 1st grade.

On the second day, Landon decided to start riding the bus and Sydney saw him off.

Instrument Petting Zoo

We went to a fun local event where Landon and Sydney got to try out numerous orchestra instruments. Do we have a budding musician?





Their favorite was the clarinet!

Happy Birthday Landon

Landon had a fun 6th birthday party with many of his cousins.

Landon and Sydney were super excited to have a bounce house in our backyard!


He blew out the candles on his construction truck cake with ease. Happy Birthday!

Busy July

We've sure been busy over the past month of summer. We kicked off July with a vacation to Grandma and Grandpa M's for the 4th, where we went to the local parade and car show,



Had some fun in the sand at the Lake,


Had a lot of fun park time with our cousin and at 2 different parks,




And enjoyed some quality time with Grandma, Grandpa, cousins, Aunt, and Uncles!



At home, we braved the chilly weather and went to our preschool Family Swim night where there was even a bounce house!




Landon played T-Ball for the second summer and you could definitely see his skills had improved!

Sydney is looking forward to being old enough to play next year.


We also supported our preschool at the annual Walk-a-thon fundraiser, where Landon and Sydney (Sonny too) did a boat race,

And had other silly fun!
