July at Christmas-time

We've heard of Christmas in July, but we had a little bit of July at Christmas-time with a family trip to Kalahari water park!



Landon was finally tall (and strong) enough to do the lily pads,

And Sydney was still small enough to use the swings!

A Fall Full of Fun!

We're behind with our pictures, but only because we have been so busy with fun this fall!
Landon's first day of school - 2nd grade already!

Happy Birthday to Daddy!

No, you're not mistaken, this is really us. We went camping this fall with the Cub Scouts.


Landon even caught a little fish while camping.

We went to the High School Football game and got to line up on the field for the players entry!


Landon and Mommy hiked 5 miles with the scouts in the fall color.

We kept up one of our favorite traditions and saw the Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off and picked pumpkins from the patch!


Getting ready for Halloween, Landon painted a pumpkin.

Landon and Sydney all dressed up for Trunk-or-Treat.

Landon turned 7 years old with a 'Splash Bash' Birthday party!
Sydney, Landon, and his friends had so much fun in the waterpark!




And in the lazy river.


We had pizza and cake in the party room.

Then even had time for some party fun in the arcade!

Vacation Summer Getaway!

Our summer vacation was a splash at Kalahari Water Park!
Landon and Sydney just loved the water park and slides.



We had fun with all the activities the resort offered, like
A playground

Mini- glow golf

Cookie decorating (and eating!)

A coloring contest (Landon and Sydney won twice!!)

The African safari zoo (Landon got to feed some animals!)


And the arcade! (Sydney hit the Jackpot!)


We also spent a fun day at Cedar Point!

Landon was so excited to drive a car for the very first time!
Sydney loved the carousel.

By the end of the day, they were riding the coasters!

Cub Scout Camp

Landon had the time of his life earlier this summer at Cub Scout Day camp! He had fun learning all kinds of scout skills:
Bottle rockets

Archery

Obstacle Course

BB Guns

Nature conservation with a DNR officer
Sports

Cooking over the campfire;
Landon's was the only popcorn that came out perfect!
